Facebook again via its initiative internet.org has launched its free internet app in Tanzania making available lots of free internet services to Tanzanians.

Just about three months ago Facebook launched same app to Airtel subscribers in Zambia read here Facebook Launches Free Internet App in Africa via Internet.org
So starting today 29th October, 2014 the Internet.org app will also be available to Tigo subscribers in Tanzania so they can enjoy free access to basic internet services like useful health, education, finance, employment, communication and local information and services without data charges.
Through the Internet.org app, Tigo customers will have access to:

- BBC News & BBC Swahili
- BrighterMonday
- The Citizen
- Facts for Life
- Girl Effect
- Messenger
- Mwananchi
- Mwanaspoti

- Wikipedia
They also promised to continue to improve the app and also make the app available in many other part of the world.
