Nokia Asha 210 To Have Dedicated WhatsApp Button

The new Nokia Asha 210 phone which was announced today,  will be the first mobile phone to have a dedicated  button for whatsapp messaging application.

The WhatsApp button key  simply means users will be able to launch the whatsapp application at just a touch of the  button, instead of scrolling through menus to launch the app.

WhatsApp  which is an application that allows users subscribed to the service to send text messages, photos, videos, and audio to one another using their phone’s Internet connection or Wi-Fi, thus avoiding SMS charges. Available for the iPhone, Android, Windows Phone, and BlackBerry, Whatsapp has rapidly transformed the world of mobile phone texting in much the same way that Skype disrupted the voice communications industry years ago.

WhatsApp which recently announced reaching 200 Million monthly users, Nokia has been paying close attention to what the market really wants, which is easy messaging and have decide to give it users exactly what will make messaging easier on a mobile device .

According to Neeraj Arora, WhatsApp’s head of business development, the mobile device will also come with a free lifetime subscription to WhatsApp, so users don’t have to pay for the app like on other devices after the one year of free trial. In addition to the WhatsApp dedicated key, the handset will also feature a camera button that allows users to snap photos quickly and share using the phone’s camera.

The Nokia Asha 210 is to cost about $72 when it hits the market sometimes in the second quarter of the year.
