Facebook in partnership with Airtel Africa has launched internet.org to provide Nigerians with free basic internet access.

This simply means all Airtel customers can browse some basic websites for free, there are about 85 websites you can browse for free on Airtel network including Facebook, Nairaland, Jobberman, Google etc.
Internet.org with free basic internet access is already in more than 40 countries with almost half of those in Africa.
Note this is for basic browsing as it can’t be used to load pictures or play videos, mostly just text content.
